Eligibility Guidelines :
- Academic Percentage : Candidates should have a minimum aggregate (all subjects in all semesters) of 60% or equivalent CGPA in class 10th, 12th, Diploma (if applicable), Graduation and Post-graduation.
- Highest Qualification : Candidates from the batch of 2023 and 2024 with below mentioned courses :
- MBA in Human Resource/Masters in Human Resource Management/ Masters of Arts in Human Resource
- Masters of Social Work in HRM/Masters of Management Studies in Human Resource Management
- Masters of Labour Studies (with specialization in Human Resource Management/Labour Welfare/ Industrial Relations/Labour Law)
- Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management/Post Graduate Program in Human Resource Management or equivalent courses
- Backlogs/ Arrears/ ATKT : No backlogs/arrears/ATKT/Extended Education. Kindly note, appearing in backlog examinations after the stipulated course duration is considered as extended education
- Gap/ Break in Education: It is mandatory to declare academic gaps if any, during the period of education. Break in education should not be due to extended education. Any break in education should not exceed 24 months. Relevant document proof, as applicable to be produced for validation of reasons behind academic gap
- Course Types : Only full-time courses will be considered (part-time/ correspondence courses will not be considered)
- Open Schooling : Candidates who have completed their Secondary and/or Senior Secondary course from NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) are also eligible to apply if the Graduation and Post-graduation (if applicable) courses are done full-time
- Work Experience: Candidates with work experience of up to 2 years are eligible to apply. It is mandatory for candidates to declare the same in the TCS Application Form. Candidates would be required to submit the necessary documents supporting the declared work experience at the time of TCS selection process and/ or post joining TCS, as per requirement. This hiring is primarily for Talent Acquisition roles (HR). Candidates with current/prior experience in recruitment-based roles would be preferred
- Age : Minimum age – 18 years and maximum age – 28 years
Test Pattern/ Details :
- Mode of test : TCS MBA HR Off Campus test would be scheduled in person in TCS offices. The test schedule would be communicated to the candidates on their registered email ID
- Test Pattern : 90 minutes HR Subject test
Application Process :
- Step 1. Log in to the TCS NextStep Portal
- Step 2. Register and Apply for the Drive
- Scenario A : If you are already a registered user in the TCS NextStep Portal, ‘IT’ category, kindly login with your TCS Reference ID (CT/DT reference number) and proceed to complete the application form. Upon submission, kindly click on ‘Apply For Drive’.
- Scenario B : If you are a new user, kindly click on Register Now, choose category as ‘IT’ and proceed to fill in your details. Submit your application form and click on ’Apply For Drive’.
- Step 3 : Select your mode of test (In-centre) and choose your preferred test center & then click on ‘Apply’.
- Step 4 : To confirm your status, check ‘Track Your Application’. The status should reflect as ‘Applied For Drive’.

- We will communicate on your registered email ID on the test schedule and venue.
- You must have all your original academic documents till date, to be submitted at the time of the Interview (if shortlisted for test).

Answer – The test is scheduled for 5th April 2025, Saturday. The test venue and schedule will be communicated to the candidates on their registered email IDs.
2)When is the last date to register for TCS MBA HR Off campus hiring?
Answer – 3rd April 2025, Thursday.
3)What would be the mode of the test?
Answer – The test will be conducted in-person in the TCS offices. Candidates would be required to visit the allotted TCS offices to appear for the in-person test.
4) Do I need to create my profile under ‘BPS’ or ‘IT’?
Answer – You are requested to create your profile under TCS Next Step Portal ‘IT’.
5)My NextStep account is locked. How can I unlock it?
Answer – Please note that after 3 unsuccessful OTP attempts, your account will be locked for 4 hours. You will get 2 more OTP attempts after 4 hours, however if wrong OTP inputs are given still, your account will be locked in the current day. You will get the next login attempt with OTP post the date change (i.e., next day). Hence, we request you to be careful with your login ID and OTP. Request you to use a desktop/ laptop. Please clear the cache, history and cookies and use the latest version of Internet Explorer/Google Chrome.
6)Is ‘Apply For Drive’ mandatory?
Answer – Yes, it is mandatory. If you do not click on ‘Apply For Drive’, your application will not be considered for TCS Off campus MBA HR Hiring process.
7)I am not getting the ‘Apply For Drive’ option, what should I do?
Answer – Once you fill in the application form, logout and login again.
Then click on ‘Apply For Drive.’ If you are not getting the ‘Apply For Drive’ option, please re-check the below steps :
- Confirm whether you have completed or submitted your application form.
- Check if you have erroneously registered under ‘BPS’ instead of ‘IT.’ If yes, then write to tcsbps.support@tcs.com for the deletion of your profile under BPS. Once your profile has been deleted, please create a new profile under IT.
- Recheck the qualification you have entered on application form.
- Check the Year of Passing you have entered in the application form.
The ‘Apply For Drive’ option will be enabled only for eligible candidates from the management postgraduates from the batch of 2023 and 2024 with MBA in HR/Masters in Human Resource Management/ Masters of Arts in Human Resource/Masters of Social Work in HRM/ Masters of Management Studies in HRM/ Masters of Labour Studies (with specialization in HRM/Labour Welfare/Industrial Relations/ Labour Law)/ Post Graduate Diploma in HRM/Post Graduate Program in HRM or equivalent courses.
8)What if I already have a CT/DT reference number? Do I need to register again?
Answer – No, you do not need to register again if your details such as your highest qualification and year of passing are mentioned correctly under the TCS Next Step Portal IT. If the details are incorrect, please proceed to make the required changes in the form before you ‘Apply For Drive’.
9)I have applied for the drive but have not got a confirmation email, what should I do?
Answer – Post applying for the drive, the status will reflect as ‘Applied For Drive’ in your ‘Track My Application’. You will not get an acknowledgment mail or confirmation mail about the same.
10)I have forgotten my CT/ DT Reference ID. Where do I get it?
Answer – You will have received an email from recruitment.entrylevel@tcs.com upon successful registration. The Reference ID would be mentioned in the same. For further queries, you can write to ilp.support@tcs.com
